Our goal is simple: to do as little as possible, as precisely as possible, to help your body heal.
Consultation
Your first step is a consultation, typically lasting about 30 minutes. This is a conversation to determine if we’re a good fit. We’ll ask about: How your issue(s) began, previous providers and treatments you’ve tried and what you’re feeling and how it affects your daily life. If you have images or reports, we’ll review those as well. This is also your chance to get to know us, learn about how we work and explore our treatment options. If all of this aligns and we think we are a good fit, we’ll schedule your first exam. If your case isn’t a fit and we do not accept it, we’ll provide a referral when appropriate.Initial Exam
Your first exam takes about an hour and is designed to be thorough. We look at your body from both a broad and detailed perspective, including: Orthopedic and neurologic tests, chiropractic and mechanical assessments, and physical performance testing to see how all the pieces work together, and where the problems may be. We’ve often heard patients call it the “most thorough exam I’ve ever had.” This comprehensive approach allows us to monitor your entire system, not just your symptoms. During this visit, we’ll also use our high-tech tools, including imaging, to get an accurate baseline for your care.
Regular Appointments
Once your exam is complete, we’ll have clinical indicators to guide your care. During regular appointments, we’ll: Check if your indicators are moving toward normal, determine if you are holding your upper cervical (Atlas) Correction, identify any areas that still need adjustment or fine tuning, and ask you for your “progress report”. This ensures we’re tracking both how you feel and how your body is responding to treatment.Periodic Re-Exams
Every 4–8 weeks, we’ll perform a re-evaluation to measure objective findings identified during your initial exam. These tests help us: Track your progress over time, measure your improvements, ensure your body is maintaining alignment and stability and adjust your care plan as needed.A Different Kind of Visit
Unlike traditional chiropractic, where you might be adjusted every visit, our focus is on helping your body stabilize and hold its correction. Each visit isn’t about “getting adjusted”, it’s about checking to see if you’re still in alignment. If you’re holding your correction, that’s great and that is what we want, your body doing what it should and gaining momentum. If you are not holding the correction we’ll reassess, make a correction and determine if there are additional factors contributing to the imbalance, or if you just need a little more time.
